Desserts Illustrations

This gallery features illustrations I created in Adobe Sketch and Procreate between June and September 2020. Each illustration is a representation of 1 to 3 national desserts in the shape of a famous monument from the same nation. The idea behind this series is that food allows people to travel, to be transported to the place from which it derives. I chose to depict buildings located only in nations I have visited. I focused on desserts because they are the type of food about which I am most passionate. Additionally, they are ideal for this project because they have specific shapes that adapt well to be turned into buildings.
